Both FT5 and Ananda Nano are pretty balanced and versatile headphones, but they interpret music in different ways.
FT5 sounds more energetic, punchy and lively, while the Ananda Nano has smoother, more mellow and natural tonality.
Imaging wise, FT5 is more forward and solid, Ananda Nano is more refined and gentle.
As the challenger of Ananda (planar headphones around 2k), FT5 does come with more accessories. The input connector is interchangeable between 4.4mm and 3.5mm (6.35mm & 4 pin XLR adapters are also available). It also comes with 2 types of earpads—suede & protein leather (a kind of synthetic leather) and a leather storage case.
