Discrete Class A Core
The NA-1 uses a fully discrete Class A circuit with a balanced design and four independent amplification units. This helps reduce interference and distortion, delivering clean, dynamic sound with excellent signal-to-noise ratio and wide dynamic range.

Layered Circuit Design
The NA-1 uses a vertically layered circuit layout. The preamp and power components are placed on the lower board, while the headphone amplifier is on the upper board. This separation reduces interference, improves heat management, and ensures stable performance.

Dual Gain Modes
The NA-1 offers independent dual-gain settings for both the preamp and headphone outputs. High gain for headphones provides more power for high-impedance models, while high gain for the preamp is ideal for power amplifiers and active speakers with low input sensitivity.

Flexible Connectivity
The NA-1 includes one balanced input and two single-ended inputs, allowing up to three audio sources. For outputs, it provides 6.35 mm, 4.4 mm, and 4-pin XLR headphone connections, plus XLR and RCA pre-outs for power amplifiers or active speakers.

Powerful Control
With a high damping factor and strong power reserves, the NA-1 maintains excellent control even during complex, dynamic music passages. It easily drives demanding flagship headphones with clarity and authority.

Analog Sound Character
The NA-1 delivers the warm and smooth sound typical of Class A amplifiers. Highs are clear and refined, mids are rich and textured, and lows are solid and well-defined. The result is detailed, dynamic sound that remains relaxed and comfortable for long listening sessions.

High-Voltage Preamp
The NA-1 features a dedicated high-performance preamp powered by 60V rails. This provides wide voltage swing and headroom, producing spacious, powerful sound with strong detail and dynamics—even at low volumes.

Smooth Volume Control
The NA-1 uses a motorized ALPS Type 27 potentiometer for precise analog volume control. When adjusted with the remote, the knob moves smoothly. Known for accurate channel matching, it ensures consistent sound across all volume levels.

Low-Noise Power Supply
The NA-1 uses an 80W potted toroidal transformer that reduces vibration and electromagnetic noise, creating a quiet background. A capacitor array of up to 39,000 µF provides stable, low-ripple power for both the preamp and amplifier circuits.

Advanced Vibration Control
The NA-1 includes the MA-DAMPER PRO isolation system, developed with Audio Bastion. Using multiple materials and layers, it absorbs external vibrations. When paired with the TEMPO DX Rack, it forms a complete vibration-control solution.
