At just 32Ω impedance and 109dB/Vrms sensitivity, it works beautifully with everything from a simple laptop output to a dedicated desktop amplifier. Its open-back design means you’ll hear a more natural, airy soundstage, as sound waves interact with the environment instead of bouncing inside a closed cup. 

A Closer Look At The Driver
At the core of the Horizon is Moondrop’s FEA-optimized (Finite Element Analysis) 50mm dynamic driver. This driver includes a titanium-plated, high-rigidity polymer dome coupled with a double-layer liquid silica gel suspension diaphragm.

The dual internal-external composite magnet circuit enhances magnetic flux while keeping the driver highly efficient. And because the driver is naturally inclined in the housing, it improves the angle at which sound reaches your ears (known as auricle coupling), resulting in better imaging and more consistent frequency response across the audible spectrum.
