CrinEar Protocol Micro – Ultra-Portable USB-C DAC & Amplifier
Small enough to take anywhere, the CrinEar Protocol Micro brings clean digital audio and hardware-based sound customization to your everyday listening setup.
Built around a modified SPV4040 DAC, Protocol Micro delivers transparent audio through a standard 3.5mm single-ended headphone output. Its ultra-low output impedance of less than 0.4Ω helps minimize interaction with sensitive IEMs, preserving their intended frequency response.
The standout feature is its built-in 8-band parametric EQ. Using EQ.Hangout.Audio through a compatible PC or Mac browser, you can adjust frequency, gain and bandwidth across eight EQ bands to fine-tune your headphones or IEMs to your preferred sound. Once configured, the EQ profile is stored directly on the device, so you can enjoy your personalized tuning without needing a companion app or EQ software during playback.
The compact USB-C dongle design is USB-powered and requires no battery, making it an easy companion for compatible smartphones, tablets and computers. Whether you're listening to music, watching videos, gaming or working, Protocol Micro adds flexible audio customization without the size or complexity of a larger DAC/amp.
