Genuine Tube Sound

At the heart of the CP6 are two Raytheon JAN6418 NOS directly-heated pentodes, giving the player a true tube-based output stage rather than a simulated tube effect.

Choose between three distinct timbre modes:

• Classic Tube — a warmer, more traditional tube presentation
• Modern Tube — tube character with a more contemporary balance
• Solid-State — clean, direct and highly transparent

The timbre modes can be used across the CP6's headphone, line and Bluetooth outputs.

More Than a CD Player

The CP6 is a complete portable digital audio hub. Play your physical CD collection, connect a computer or smartphone through USB, stream wirelessly over Bluetooth, or use the CP6 as a source for a larger hi-fi system.

Its built-in CD mechanism also supports lossless CD ripping, allowing your discs to be transferred to a USB-connected storage device as WAV files.

Powerful Balanced Headphone Amplification

The CP6 features a fully balanced, discrete four-channel headphone amplifier with selectable Class A or Class AB operation.

Both 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced headphone outputs are provided, with support for headphones ranging from 8 to 600 ohms.

The balanced output can deliver up to 1,300 mW + 1,300 mW at 16 ohms when operating from external power, giving the CP6 plenty of headroom for demanding headphones.

Modern Wireless Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.4 makes the CP6 just as capable with wireless listening as it is with physical media.

It supports high-resolution Bluetooth codecs including:

The CP6 works as both a Bluetooth receiver and transmitter, allowing it to receive music from another device or send audio wirelessly to compatible headphones and speakers.
