45-Degree Asymmetric Edge
The edge is crucial for pick performance-the larger the contact area, the better. Asymmetric edge designs effectively increase this area, but traditionally only costly handmade picks use them, raising costs and compromising consistency. The Flying Fish employs high-precision 3D modeling and mechanical simulation, with numerous prototypes leading to an exceptional 45-degree gradual asymmetric edge. This innovative mold formation enhances the shape, precision, and consistency of industrial picks elevating their performance to a new level.
Innovative Mold Design
With years of experience in the earphone industry, NF ACOUS has hon edits expertise in plastic mold design. To solve the key issues of traditional picks-mold lines and injection points-the Flying Fish utilizes innovative mold techniques. This includes refining the mold structure, fractal surfaces, flow channels and vents, resulting in a contact area free of mold lines and minimal injection points. Paired with high-precision injection molding, the product offers superior accuracy and user experience compared to traditional picks.
Anti-Slip Texture, Three Surface Roughness Levels
A pick's strumming and grip require different surface textures-smooth for contact and rough for grip. The Flying Fish features an electro chemical mirror polish for quicker transitions. Inspired by NF ACOUS' new logo, The anti-slip design combines two laser-etched textures, VDl 18 and VDl 33, for a comfortable feel and perfect balance.
