Moondrop is back with the Jiu, the new successor to their wildly popular budget killer IEM model, the CHU. Moondrop JIU adopts a 10mm high-performance dynamic driver unit that delivers enhanced sound performance, the same one used as the CHU. The Diaphragm has improved rigidity and ensures excellent damping resulting in improved treble extension and details. The tuning for the Moondrop JIU is adjusted following Moondrop’s VDSF target response but by adding the new DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for enhanced sound performance, the Moondrop Jiu has the same accurate and lively tuning but with a balanced listening experience, a natural soundstage, and a pleasing lower-end performance.
