Acoustune HS1750CU, the younger sibling to the impressive HS1790TI, shares a lot of the great design and build quality as the Ti version, at a more affordable price point. The HS1750CU shell design is almost identical to its bigger brother with the exception of a more simple but elegant, smooth black coated finish. The acoustic sound chamber is milled from Copper Alloy instead of Titanium.

Just like its bigger brother, the HS1750CU also shares a similar sound signature; a warm, mild U-shape tuning with above average technicalities to boot. The main difference would be that the HS1750CU is warmer and has an even more rolled off treble than the HS1790TI. The technicalities are also similar, slightly narrow soundstage and a bit forward in its presentation, but the imaging and separation are surprisingly effortless and not congested.

For those that find the HS1750CU a bit too warm, I do recommend pairing them with Acoustune’s own new eartips, the AEX70. These eartips will alter the sound signature to become more balanced overall; bass is slightly deemphasized, but also making it tighter and more punchy. The mids with the AEX70 becomes more balanced/neutral, making vocals and instruments have more energy and zest, while the treble presents more details and sparkle.
