The new AEX07 ear tip design is based on the outgoing AET07 model that it's replacing.
Development has been helped extensively with ear shape data and fitting feedback from the ST1000/ST300 Custom Fit Intershell project. The overall shape, thickness, stiffness and silicone material type has been carefully studied and improvised for this new ear tip.

Compared to the AET07, you will notice an improvement on the treble section, better clarity with slightly brighter sound, quality refinements on bass response. Some people tout it as a combination of individual perks from AET07 and AET08.
