Tangzu Wan’er S.G is one of the few earphone models that have an excellent price-performance ratio. Sitting in the sub-RM100 range, it makes for a great candidate as an introductory earphone for the journey into the audiophile world.

A single 10mm dynamic driver with a wide frequency coverage band is selected, equipped with N52 magnet system, dual cavity chamber and PET diaphragm. The Wan’er S.G has a slight V-shaped sound with warm mids, smooth treble presentation and well controlled mid bass slam and rumble. The end result is a tuning that’s very easy to like and enjoy music across all genres on and on. Eartip rolling is greatly appreciated on the Wan’er S.G and can be an inexpensive way to further enhance the sound quality.

Build quality is relatively good considering the price that it’s offered. The overall design of the shell housing is carefully studied to provide a comfortable fitting and made of skin-friendly imported resin from Germany. My favourite part of the Wan’er S.G. is definitely the inclusion of detachable cable design (used to only be available on higher priced earphones) which greatly extends the service life of the earphone.
