Bluetooth 5.0 LDAC Transmission
EX5 has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC. It uses CSR8675 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/APTX/APTX LL / APTX HD protocol.
To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, we abandon the built-in DAC of CSR8675 and connect its digital signal to 2x ES9038Q2M to decode.

Plug and play
EX5 has a wide range of compaitibility: Windows 10, MAC, Linux, iOS, Android can be plug and play. It is worth mentioning that EX5 uses 2nd generation 16 core XMOS XU216, USB supports MQA full decode, PCM32bit/768kHz and DSD512 native. Even in the face of higher-end ASIO applications, EX5 can do a good job: MAC driver free, Windows 10 with customized Thesycon ASIO driver, PC becomes a professional HIFI source.

DAC + PRE AMP application
The EX5's output mode "RCA output only", "XLR output only" and "RCA + XLR output" is quite useful for multiple systems. You can use it to connect 2 different system of power amplifier, actiev speakers or other devices and adjust the volume on EX5.
EX5 uses digital volume adjustment, the left and right channels are balanced, and there will be no partial sound.
