The HE-9 LE and HE-9 MK2 shares the exact same analog board.
The main difference is the HE-9 MK2 has built in regenerate power supply that can filter all power line interrupt, feed the most clean power to the analog boards .
The HE-9 LE has built in the linear power supply , benefit from the built in pure class A PSUs that can offer the quite clean power to the analog boards.
For customers who want the best sound quality, HE-9 MK2 is the recommended model.
The HE-9 LE is for customers who want to get the best performance/price ratio and owns an existing external power processor.

[HE-9 Summary]
Unique real non-feedback ACSS headphone amplifier applies four channels of non-feedback output stages composed of 8 pieces of  transistors, every piece has 15A/150W performance. The capacitance of the whole machine reaches as high as 36,000uF. Three R-core transformers are used with total power of 145W.
The preamp output has built in the exclusive output buffers that can improve the sound quality of the preamp output.
4 group class A PSUs power supply for Left and Right audio signal amps .
Four-channel 100 steps digitally controlled relay-based volume control avoids channel imbalance and improves sound quality.
Four-channel 9 steps digital controller relay-based pre-volume control can control the source input level from 0DB to -9DB.
Two gain modes, high gain has 20DB and low gain has 10DB, which is more flexibility for the different gain power amp.
