Silence your world with the new Sony WF-1000XM5, the latest and greatest Active Noise Canceling earbud from Sony. It features the newly developed Sony V2 Integrated Processor & QN2e Noise Canceling Processor, together they control a total of 6 feedforward / dual feedback microphones across both ears to cancel out more external noise than ever while retaining a natural and pressure-less experience.

The WF-1000XM5 debuts a brand new driver named Dynamic Driver X. This 8.2mm Dynamic Driver has its diaphragm structure made by combining several different materials for the dome and edge, helping not only to deliver a low distortion, detailed and wide frequency reproduction, but also help in generating cancellation waves to enhance the ANC experience.

The earbud housing of WF-1000XM5 has also been redesigned, it is now 20% lighter and 25% smaller than the WF-1000XM4. Sony included a smaller SS size memory foam eartip (total 4 pairs, SS/S/M/L size) now to further aid in getting a comfortable fit and proper sound isolation.

Multi-point pairing is supported out of box and voice call quality also received much needed improvements. The bone conduction sensor in the WF-1000XM5 can now pick up your voice clearer and includes advanced AI noise reduction algorithms to give a helping hand in noisy environments.

Other specs include IPX4 water resistant design, DSEE Extreme Sound Enhancements, 360 Reality Audio with Head Tracking Immersion. Battery is rated at up to 8 hours, totalling out 24 hours with the charging case.
