The MS-1c is the new entry-level model in Matrix Audio’s flagship M Series, designed as a premium, pure audio source for audiophiles. Powered by the proprietary Linux-based MA Player OS, it blends high-end aesthetics with superior sound quality. Featuring a flagship AKM VELVETSOUND™ DAC and Swedish LUNDAHL precision transformers, it delivers a warm, musical, and fatigue-free listening experience with a dynamic range of up to 125dB.

Precision Engineering & Robust Power

To ensure digital accuracy, the MS-1c employs a dual femtosecond clock architecture and a high-speed FPGA to virtually eliminate jitter and phase noise. This performance is supported by a sophisticated power design that uses separate supplies for digital and analog circuits. A dedicated linear power supply for the analog stage minimizes interference, providing a clean, stable foundation for high-resolution audio reconstruction.

Versatile Connectivity & Storage The device offers extensive output flexibility, including XLR and RCA analog ports with selectable levels, as well as USB, IIS-LVDS, and S/PDIF digital outputs. Users can easily expand their music library via an internal NVMe SSD slot or by connecting an external USB CD drive for playback and high-quality ripping. With Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6, the MS-1c can also function as a NAS, serving music to other devices across a home network.

Intelligent Control & Global Streaming

Controlled via the intuitive MA Remote App, the MS-1c integrates vast streaming resources including Apple Music, TIDAL, Qobuz, and Roon Ready. It supports a wide array of protocols like AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and DLNA, alongside cloud integration via Dropbox. Housed in a vibration-damped, CNC-machined aluminum chassis, the MS-1c provides a seamless and powerful interface for the modern digital music library.
