Next-Generation Dynamic Driver

The MOONDROP CHU III features a newly developed 10mm aluminum-magnesium alloy composite diaphragm, combining lightweight construction with high rigidity for fast transients, controlled bass, and excellent detail retrieval. Driven by a powerful N52 neodymium magnetic circuit, the driver delivers clean and responsive performance across the frequency range.

Precision Acoustic Engineering

A CNC-machined brass acoustic nozzle provides precise acoustic control while helping suppress unwanted treble resonances. Combined with the rigid zinc-alloy cavity, the acoustic system delivers improved clarity, consistency, and low distortion.

Balanced Hi-Fi Tuning

CHU III follows MOONDROP's PopAvg-DF (JM-1) tuning philosophy, producing a balanced and natural presentation. Bass is punchy and controlled, vocals remain clear and well-positioned, while the treble provides detail and air without excessive harshness.

With a specified frequency response extending from 12Hz to 50kHz and THD of ≤0.1%, CHU III delivers impressive technical performance for its class.

Durable, Ergonomic Construction

The zinc-alloy housing provides a rigid and durable enclosure while maintaining a compact ergonomic shape for comfortable long-term listening. Its understated metal finish gives CHU III a premium appearance that matches its refined acoustic engineering.

Detachable Cable

A standard 0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable allows easy replacement or upgrading. The included 3.5mm single-ended plug provides broad compatibility with DACs, computers, DAPs, smartphones, and other audio devices.
