Pentaconn COREIR Ti ALLOY

The Pentaconn COREIR Ti ALLOY is the third-generation COREIR ear tip and the latest titanium-alloy version of Pentaconn’s metal-core design. Instead of using a conventional silicone-only sound path, it incorporates an anodized titanium-alloy core into the stem, designed to maintain the shape and rigidity of the sound conduit. Pentaconn positions this construction as a way of achieving spatial presentation and sound reproduction closer to IEMs with metal nozzles, with the Ti ALLOY version specifically intended to combine higher resolution, greater tonal body, and a more immersive, powerful presentation. The titanium core is paired with a silicone stem and dome, giving the tip a balance between structural rigidity in the acoustic path and flexibility for ear fit. 

A key feature is the silicone cushioning system between the IEM nozzle and titanium core. The cushion prevents the two hard surfaces from directly contacting each other and helps isolate the metal insert from nozzle vibration, while the core extends only through part of the stem; the section receiving the IEM nozzle remains silicone. The COREIR Ti ALLOY is designed for IEMs with approximately 4.5–5.5 mm nozzle diameters and has a 4.4 mm internal stem diameter. Four sizes are available—S, MS, M and L—with 11, 12, 13 and 14 mm dome diameters respectively. Pentaconn also uses CMYK-inspired color coding for quick size identification.
